North Atlanta Regenerative Medicine Center of Excellence

We are North Atlanta’s premiere Regenerative Center of Excellence. One of the most exciting emerging forms of regenerative medicine for soft tissue injuries is Stem Cell Therapy. Stem Cell injections are an increasingly popular alternative to surgery and are getting great results for patients of all ages. The physicians at Georgia Pain and Wellness Center have been practicing regenerative medicine for years and together have helped Atlanta patients live pain-free. Whether you are an elite athlete, “Weekend Warrior” or you simply want to stop living in pain, if you’re looking for a nonsurgical way to manage and eliminate your back, neck, joint or other pain, call us at 770.962.3642 or request an appointment online.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Uses the patient’s own concentrated platelet cells to help regenerate tissue, reduce inflammation, and restore function. This therapy helps regenerate cartilage in joints and ligaments, and reduce inflammation caused by injury and osteoarthritis; therefore, relieving pain and improving function. PRP therapy can be beneficial in joints such as knees, hips, shoulders, and more. There’s very low chance of side effects because this uses the patient’s own cells. This can help patients avoid painful surgery and the risks involved. The cells are injected into the affected areas under fluoroscopic (x-ray) and ultrasound guidance by our highly trained physicians.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cells are master cells, meaning they are blank slates that can grow to become different types of cells based on their surrounding ones. These undifferentiated cells are injected into degenerated areas to help regrow normal tissues and heal the bones, ligaments, and tendons. This therapy can also help to avoid surgery and the risks involved. The stem cells are injected into joints (knees, shoulders, elbows) and other degenerated tissues under fluoroscopic (x-ray) and ultrasound guidance by our highly trained physicians.
